Solid covers are gaining popularity in the South African market but do not act as a 100% safety barrier for kids. What you will notice on the larger size pools  is, when it rains the cover will sag in the middle due to the weight of the water, causing a puddle of water that may be hazardous to a baby should they crawl into the centre of the pool.

Solid covers are predominantly used for the winter season and have the following benefits:

The material used is 550g A grade PVC material within reinforced webbing giving it superior strength and durability.
